Selected research projects

Healthcare AI & ECG

ConformalShift

This project studies the security of adaptive ECG monitoring systems and how the timing and ordering of authentic clinical feedback can influence their decisions.

Yasmin's contributions: researched the biological and clinical background of ECG signals, heartbeat classes, and cardiac abnormalities; reviewed relevant biomedical literature; summarized and presented findings to the first author as a research assistant; helped check biological terminology and the interpretation of experimental results; and contributed to the biological framing of the manuscript.

Single-Cell Biology & AI

CohortHijack

This project investigates the robustness of single-cell annotation systems when selected non-target cells are removed from a query cohort while the target cell's expression profile remains unchanged.

Yasmin's contributions: researched the biological background of single-cell data, immune-cell populations, and cell annotation; reviewed related biological literature; organized and presented findings to the first author as a research assistant; helped assess the biological plausibility of results and cell labels; and assisted with scientific terminology and biological context for the paper.
